Cancelation Policy

Although we hate to see you cancel, we get that sometimes life happens. If you have any further questions or need more details, feel free to contact us at any time by email at contact@springranchcampground.com or by phone at (402) 726-2282

Should you need to reschedule your stay, please contact the lodging manager, Kim Nelson, and (402) 726-2282 as soon as possible. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your visit, please do so 28 days before the date of your visit to receive a full refund. Processing and transaction fees will not be refunded to your account when you receive your refund. A cancellation of anything within the 28-day period before your visit will result in the charge of the total amount of your reservation. 

We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in a fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or result from a mistake or error.

Spring Ranch Campground Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy

At Spring Ranch Campground, the safety and well-being of our guests are our top priorities. We understand that severe weather conditions can sometimes interfere with travel plans. To provide clarity and flexibility, we’ve outlined our cancellation policy for inclement weather:

  • Definition of Inclement Weather:
      • Inclement weather refers to conditions that make travel unsafe, such as severe snowstorms, icy roads, or other hazardous weather events.
  • Cancellation Policy:
      • If inclement weather prevents you from arriving for your stay, we offer a full credit toward a future reservation.
      • Guests may reschedule their booking for any available dates within 12 months of the original reservation, at no additional cost.
  • No Refund Policy:
    • Please note that no refunds will be issued for cancellations due to inclement weather. Instead, we encourage guests to take advantage of the free rescheduling option.
  • How to Cancel or Reschedule:
      • Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule due to inclement weather.
      • Reach Kim Nelson, at (402) 726-2282 with your booking details, and we will assist you in finding new dates for your stay.

Waiver and Release of Liability

Aside from giving our guests a unique experience, we strive to provide a safe and fun environment for everyone who visits our property. Please sign the document below and either scan/email it to our staff or bring a copy with you upon your arrival if you intend to use any of our recreational offerings, including the swimming pond, zipline, water trampoline, and hiking trails. This waiver must be signed to use any of our recreational facilities.

Waiver and Release of Liability

This Waiver and Release of Liability is a legal document. By signing it, you give up certain legal rights,
including the right to sue for injuries or damages. Please read carefully before signing.

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I understand that participating in recreational activities at Spring Ranch Campground, including but not
limited to hiking, camping, and the use of the on-site zipline, pond, and water trampoline involves
inherent and known risks, including but not limited to:
– Falls from height
– Equipment failure or misuse
– Rope burns, cuts, bruises, sprains, broken bones
– Weather conditions or natural hazards
– Collision with people, objects, or the ground
– Serious injury, paralysis, or death
I voluntarily assume full responsibility for these risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen, and for my
participation in the activities offered at Spring Ranch Campground.

2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration of being allowed to participate in Spring Ranch Campground activities, I, on behalf of
myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns, hereby waive, release, discharge, and hold harmless Spring
Ranch Campground from any and all claims, actions, causes of action, demands, damages, costs,
expenses, or compensation, including attorneys’ fees, arising out of or in any way related to my
participation in activities. This waiver includes liability caused by Spring Ranch Campground’s ordinary
negligence, but does not release Spring Ranch Campground from liability resulting from intentional or
grossly negligent conduct.

3. FITNESS TO PARTICIPATE

I certify that I am in good physical condition, have no medical or physical conditions that would impair
my ability to safely participate in the above activities, and have not been advised otherwise by a
qualified medical professional.

4. RULES AND SAFETY COMPLIANCE

I agree to follow all posted rules and verbal instructions from Spring Ranch Campground staff. I will use
any required safety gear, such as lifejackets, helmets and harnesses, and agree that failure to do so
may result in removal from the activity without refund. I understand that violation of safety rules may
increase the risk of injury and void this Agreement.

5. PROPERTY AND VALUABLES

I understand that Spring Ranch Campground is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged
personal property or valuables during my visit.

6. PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE (Optional)

7. LEGAL ENFORCEABILITY & VENUE

I understand this Agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by Nebraska law. If any part is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect. This Agreement is governed by Nebraska law, and any claims shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Nebraska. 8.

PARENT OR GUARDIAN CONSENT (Required if under 18)

If the participant is under 18 years of age: I certify that I am the legal parent or guardian of the minor named below and have the authority to sign this Agreement on their behalf. I understand that Nebraska courts may not enforce waivers signed on behalf of minors. However, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spring Ranch Campground from any claims brought by or on behalf of the minor related to their participation. I agree to be present and supervise the minor during zipline use, unless otherwise permitted by staff

Payment Policy

To secure your booking, your entire payment is required at the time of booking. Any other charges will be paid at the time of purchase.

Saunas

Spring Ranch Campground offers a Sauna for an additional purchase to our guests. Sauna times must be set up with our management team, and someone will help to get the sauce started and show you how it works. Please do not allow children under the age of 12 in the Sauna, and no children are allowed in the Sauna without parental supervision. Please use caution when using the Sauna if you are pregnant or nursing.

Swimming

Swimming in the pond is allowed. Parents must be present at all times. There is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Swim at your own risk. Life jackets are recommended.

Parking

There are designated parking areas near every cabin. Additional parking is located near our entrance. Please do not drive on the farm.

Smoking

There will be a $250 fee charged if a guest or visitor smokes any substance inside any of our structures.

Camp Fires & Cooking

Do not throw anything into a lit fire or do anything to make the fire out of control. This will be cause for immediate expulsion from the property with no refund. We reserve the right to cancel use of propane grills and/or propane fire pits due to weather conditions. Please extinguish all fires by 12 AM or when not attended. Fires can only be started in the steel firepit provided.

Cooking over the campfire is encouraged. We ask when you are finished with the provided grill cooking tools, to put them in the provided plastic container inside the side box of the wagon. NO COOKING OF ANY KIND IS ALLOWED INSIDE YOUR WAGON.

Security

There is no security or lifeguard on duty.

Severe Weather

Each unit has an informational binder that outlines our severe weather procedures and provides a phone number to reach a manager.

Pets

Pets are not allowed anywhere on the property. If a pet is found on the property, we reserve the right to remove anyone from the property who does not respect our no-pet policy. Guests will also be subject to a $300 fine for bringing a pet.

Arrival/Departure Procedures

Arrival can be no earlier than 3:00 PM. Should you need to arrive later than 6:00 PM, please call and alert the lodging manager, Kim Nelson, at (402) 726-2282

Please make sure your wagon or cabin door is closed, AC is turned off and your lantern and keys are inside when you leave. There is a $25 charge for a lost key. Please leave all towels in the shower and throw away all trash when exiting your wagon to the provided trash bins.

A charge will be added to your credit card if your wagon is left with any damages, stains, loss of lantern, or broken furniture or fixtures. Do not move any furniture, please!

Complaint Resolution and Assistance

Please notify us promptly of any problems with your accommodations, as we would like the opportunity to resolve it. Also, notify us of any damage, breakage, or maintenance issues that occur during your stay. Each unit has an informational binder that provides a phone number to reach a manager.

Code of Conduct

A guest must be an adult (18 or older) to rent a cabin and an adult must be present during the entirety of the stay.

Quiet hours are in effect from 11 pm to 7 am.

Parents are responsible for their children, and children must be supervised.

We reserve the right to enter and inspect the cabins at any time. We reserve the right to charge the costs of repairs for damages. We reserve the right to charge additional cleaning costs. Some examples are glitter, confetti, cigarette/cigar butts, and food or trash thrown into the trees.

Liability

Spring Ranch Campground is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. There are no refunds due to discomfort of nature under Nebraska Law there is no liability for an injury to or death of a participant in an agritourism activity. Inherent risks of agritourism activities include.

Among others, risk or injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals as well as the potential for your to act in a neglectful manner that may contribute to your injury or death. You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.
