My two granddaughters and I stayed here in July & had a blast! The girls did not want to leave because they were having so much fun! The amenities were amazing & the hosts thought of everything we would need to make it a memorable and fun experience! Can’t wait to go back!
OWEN & KIM ARE EXCELLENT HOSTS
Nebraska Passport stop number 8 in 2024 was Spring Ranch Campground, complete with a couple of overnight stays in the King Wagon! Like all the other posts indicate, Owen and Kim are excellent hosts — attentive without encroaching on our time in their little piece of the world. We were very impressed with all the little extras and details. At some level, we also enjoyed the lack of connectivity. Great place!
BEST PLACE EVER!! Relaxing and the kids loved it! We will be doing my daughter’s 16th birthday here. Will be coming back a lot with friends ❤️

Spring Ranch Campground exceeded our expectations! Every convenience possible was awaiting. Such a beautiful & quiet place. Two young girls can now claim they spent a night in a covered wagon with their grandmas 😁

The stay was amazing. You and your wife are truly great hosts on your campground. All of the accommodations were great and the attention to detail made our stay even better. I am sure we will reserve a wagon again sometime. Thanks for opening up your land to others. It was the escape we needed.

Attention to detail was spot on, with the snacklebox, and smores box. Had a great time and enjoyed every minute. Will definitely stay there again.

This place is awesome! My kids had so much fun exploring and playing. There was swimming, rope swing, zipline, horseshoes, campfires, and trail walking and the covered wagon was so nice! A bathroom with a shower was inside the wagon and I was very thankful for the AC after being in the heat most of the day. Can’t wait to go back again. No cell phone service but it was nice to unplug out there.
We stayed the weekend in a wagon and had such an enjoyable time. The owners were great and have added so many personal touches around the campground and have kept everything in top-notch condition. Even though we didn’t use the pond area, it just gave off such a relaxing ambiance. With only a few ‘camping’ options available, it made you feel like you had the whole place to yourself.
This was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment the owners greeted us all the way to the checkout process everything was perfect. I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to book the full campground with my family. I plan to make this a yearly tradition.

Owen and Kim are such great people! So friendly and accommodating. Mary and I had a wonderful time at Spring Ranch Campground. The Conestoga wagon had every comfort you could want for a great stay. I don’t know why the pioneers traveling west thought they had it so rough! 😆😆 Seriously, such an amazing place for a relaxing evening or weekend. And the historical significance of being right along the Oregon Trail. And for great food, service and atmosphere dine out at Kitty’s in Hastings. Known for their amazing wood-fired pizza!

Your Kind hospitality, this unique environment & historical experience has made our little adventure one we will NEVER forget.
