Owen and Kim are such great people! So friendly and accommodating. Mary and I had a wonderful time at Spring Ranch Campground. The Conestoga wagon had every comfort you could want for a great stay. I don’t know why the pioneers traveling west thought they had it so rough!😆😆 Seriously, such an amazing place for a relaxing evening or weekend. And the historical significance of being right along the Oregon Trail. And for great food, service and atmosphere dine out at Kitty’s in Hastings. Known for their amazing wood fired pizza!
The stay was amazing. You and your wife are truly great hosts on your campground. All of the accommodations were great and the attention to detail made our stay even better. I am sure we will reserve a wagon again sometime. Thanks for opening up your land to others. It was the escape we needed.
We have traveled from North Carolina to have an amazing adventure. This adventure has taken us across the country. Out of all of our stays, this has been the most memorable adventure yet. Your Kind hospitality, this unique environment & historical experience has made our little adventure one we will NEVER forget. How much does a Wagon Cost and what is included?
Standard rates are $250/per night for two guests. The following is included in your stay:
- In-room coffee & tea, and fresh drinking water
- King-size bed
- Electricity and ample sockets for gadgets
- Sitting area with a wheel-barrel table
- Private patio with Adirondack chairs and fire pit with an attached grill
- Grill utensils
- Private, en-suite bathroom with full-flush toilets and a show shower
- Each room comes with a complimentary Smores kit
Can friends come along?
Absolutely! We love friends however each additional person staying or visiting the campground will be an additional charge of $25 per person per night. Please specify this at the time of booking or let us know upon their arrival and we will charge your card on file.
What is the WiFi situation?
We believe nature is a space to disconnect and tap into nature and those around you so we do not currently offer WiFi at Spring Ranch Campground. However, Wifi can be accessed a short walk up the hill.
How many people can The Wagonner Accomodate?
The Wagoneer can accommodate two adults.
We do have tents with cots available for rent to set up camp under the stars. These work great for families with children. You can add this option to your reservation when booking.
Are the Wagons heated or cooled?
Absolutely, each wagon has its own heating and air-conditioning units to keep you at the perfect temperature.
Is there electricity?
Yes, each wagon has multiple outlets with USB charging capabilities.
What about Firewood?
We do supply one bundle of firewood to each rental and more is available for purchase on-site (cash only) or you can add a couple of bundles to your booking at checkout and we will have them ready for you at your campsite. Each bundle comes with 8 to 10 logs.
